Including the two large scale Tier 1 Farmers, and the new 6 member Tier 2 farms, Hempleton has grown the East Coast Genetics distribution network quicker than many thought possible. With eight facilities to distribute these high cbd genetics, ranging from Wilmington NC to Asheville NC. These clone facilities have been trained through the East Coast Genetics program to produce top grade clones, and to distribute approved 2018 Cherrywine genetics.
Through all variety trials of 8 different genetics during 2017, Cherrywine produced head over heals above the other genetics, and with ECG obtaining foundation seed they currently have 9 defined phenotypes. They have spent the last six months in their indoor research facility and greenhouse research facilities private lab testing and trialing the Cherrywine variety to produce approved mom stock for clone release to farmers. ECG and Hempleton are industry leaders and are dedicated to producing a product that can help support a healthy profitable hemp industry.
With many genetics failing THC tests, and showing inferior weight and mold resistance, ECG has worked hard to spread free education throughout the last 16 months, and has demonstrated the difference in these genetics to farmers. These companies were built on the principals of restoring rural farming communities with a cash crop, and to offer support to guide the industry into large scale production. With many of the surrounding hemp programs being limited in research or production, NC is poised to be a state leader in the national hemp program with proper training and positioning.
As industry leaders ECG continues to define and breed available genetics to produce a high performing CBD variety. These plants offer self supportive structure, natural pest resistance, great flower development, and mold resistance.
